Front-lit photos with a plain background work best. You can also drop an image here.

Fine-tune the portrait
Makes eyes, glasses, brows and lips stand out from the skin around them. Helps most on small portraits.
2Shades
Tap a shade to set any color, or match it to a real filament below.
These shades aren’t in dark-to-light order, so the portrait’s tones will be mixed up.

Generate another for a new combination; arrows revisit earlier results. Vibrant explores bolder colors. Suggestions can mix PLA Basic and PLA Matte finishes. Check the preview and regional stock before buying.
Browse filament colors
Bambu index: 30 PLA Basic and 25 PLA Matte solid colors, checked 1 October 2026. Official color source. Codes identify colors, not spool/refill variants. Printed plastic can look different.
Adjust shade boundaries
Automatic cuts favour the face in the middle of the crop. Brightness and contrast shift the photo across these cuts; Rebalance to spread the shades evenly again.
3Clean-up
Removes small areas and fills small holes. This is an area filter; long, thin features may remain. Check fine details in your slicer.
A border that runs through every layer, so the plates line up by their edges.
4Size and thickness
Grid spacing for the outlines, not a minimum printable width. Finer detail uses more memory. The nozzle check below flags potentially fragile detail without changing your portrait.
Choose the usable size for your printer; leave room for brims and excluded areas in the slicer.
5Export
Choose the files that match your printing method. Both downloads include the same layered portrait.

In Bambu Studio, match filament slots to your chosen colors and select a printer and process before slicing. The 3MF is not a ready-to-print profile.
